The Garshana Glove is a 100% raw silk dry massage glove traditionally used in Ayurveda to support the skin’s natural renewal process. When practiced regularly, Garshana is known to assist in:

  • removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores
  • supporting the appearance of smooth, soft & even skin
  • improving the appearance of cellulite

Instructions

Garshana should be performed on dry skin before a shower. Brush towards the heart, applying as much pressure as comfortable. Wash the glove with water and mild detergent before the first use and weekly from then on.

  1. Start with your neck & shoulder areas using long brush strokes.
  2. Continue to the arms with long strokes, incorporating circular motions at your elbows & wrists.
  3. Massage the abdominal area in a clockwise motion as this is the natural path of digestion.
  4. The lower back & hips/buttocks area can also be massaged using the same circular motion.
  5. Finish the massage with feet & legs, using circular strokes for the knees & ankles and long strokes for the feet & legs.

Finish with a shower and RAIA Body Oil on slightly damp skin straight after. 

Garshana gloves are hypoallergenic and a gentle all-natural exfoliator. Garshana can be performed a few times a week or daily, as suited to your needs.

THE BASE

The Body Oils contain nutrient and antioxidant rich sweet almond oil to lock in moisture and improve the appearance of skin.

Sweet almond oil is naturally rich in vitamins A, B, E, minerals & Omega-3 Fatty Acids.

The consistency is a lightweight oil that is deeply hydrating without a sticky finish.
THE FRAGRANCE

We use the highest quality fragrance in our Body Oils to ensure maximum scent projection and longevity and our formulas are paraben free, phthalate free, formaldehyde free, cruelty free and vegan.

We take inspiration from premium fragrances and reimagine them through RAIA's lens.

Those with nut allergies or known fragrance sensitivities should consult a medical practitioner before coming into contact with our oils.

If you experience skin irritation, wash with soap and water and discontinue use. For external use on the body only. Avoid contact with eyes, face and intimate areas. Keep out of reach of children.

Directions: Our oils easily absorb into your skin and can be applied directly onto the body. Layer your favourite perfume on top or wear alone.
